As a
serious and committed dancer you are likely to find as you continue your
study and practice that you are struggling with a particular part of your
dance, or that you're needing specialized instruction to help you connect
the dots or to round out your dancing.
If you could just get help on that
one thing, that one aspect of your Belly Dancing that may seem to be holding you back,
is it possible that the rest of your dancing
will start to fall into place?
Finding a Belly Dance instructional video, or DVD amongst the 1000's of
available titles that addresses your specific needs and make a difference in
your dancing is not easy. You're going to spend a lot of time filtering
through titles and without the ability to 'try before you buy' can
also be risky.
The problem is that
trying to find a specific belly dance move, or technique tailored to your
exact needs in the sea of 'mass produced' titles is virtually
impossible. Mass produced is for the masses and appeal to the larger
audience of Belly Dancers. Not you the individual dancer!

I really like the amount of repetition and I like how Leyla does things facing
front, side, and back. Yeah!!!
I love that the first 2 combos (haven't watched the whole thing yet) involve ami's. I know how to do them but I rarely use them. (Not sure why). Now I get to really practice and use them.
One thing that I find helpful when people are describing ami's to me....is when people say 'clockwise' or 'counter-clockwise' as opposed to up, in, down, etc. For some reason, the latter description confuses me.
I can't wait to view the rest of the video and work with it some more.

 I am so happy I decided to have a personal video made just for me. I started by filling out a little questionnaire on Leyla's web site describing what level of dancer I was and just what I was looking to achieve from my class. About 30 minutes later Leyla called me on the phone and we talked in depth about everything. In about four days my video was up and running and I was in shimmy heaven!
This is a great concept because you get exactly what you are looking for. No time is wasted on material you do not need and there is absolutely no fluff or filler material. Leyla also will give you a follow up call to see how you are making out and to see if there are any questions that she can help you with. It is so totally cool I cannot wait to get another!
